Area Reps are individuals who volunteer to promote the Canadian Parrot Symposium in their geographic area and with their local bird or parrot club. Area reps:

• Distribute brochures and other information to potential delegates

• Promote the Symposium at local events such as bird club meetings & shows

• Distribute posters and brochures to local pet stores and other appropriate outlets

• Link the Canadian Parrot Symposium web site to their site and/or their Club's site

• Advertise the Symposium in their Club's newsletter or bulletin

• promote the Symposium in other appropriate ways (e.g. write an article for distribution, give a talk at local club meeting)
