Costs to bring speakers to the Parrot Symposium, from around the world, are offset by generous donations by many businesses. Without these donations, registration costs would be much higher and the Parrot Symposium might not be a viable event. These donations are put into Silent Auctions and our Saturday evening live auction.

Our 10th Canadian Parrot Symposium auction offered a wonderful opportunity for collectors of avian items. We received some wonderful donations for the auction, including such things as a signed original watercolour of a Yellow Masked Lovebird by Eric Peake, a Robert Bateman print (Under the Canopy - Toucan), cages from Hagen and West Coast Tropical Bird Studio, a variety of parrot foods, magazine subscriptions, a wide variety of bird related novelty items including jewelry, a parrot figurine, parrot toys, bird carriers and much much more.

In addition to the excellent exhibitors and non-profits, the Canadian Parrot Symposium will be selling a number of products on consignment, offering delegates an even greater variety of products, including Hancock Publishing House's fantastic selection of avian books, and the beautiful avian artwork of Eric Peake, and parrot toys. Additionally, speakers often bring a selection of their published books and products that can be purchased directly from the speaker.
